Our Week + Random Photos!

On Sunday we celebrated Mom and Dad's 41st anniversary with a trip to our favorite restaurant Maggianos! We always have a great time together as a family laughing and chatting. Mom and Dad are such an inspiration for all of us kids...to see the love they share after 41 years is awesome!

After dinner Camryn and Isabella talked us into letting them spend the night with Grammy and Pop. They didn't have pajamas or anything...so here they are in T-shirts on the blow up mattress in Gram and Pops room! I heard they had a wonderful time!

Wednesday we had a fun park day! Here is Bella jumpin' off the slide.

On Thursday we joined my friend Jen and her daughter Ava for story time at the Fullerton library. Isabella loved it! And the girls get along so great. It is so fun to see them friends!

Isabella always wants me to take pictures of her and "bubby"...so here they are hanging out on the couch!

Yesterday Isabella got to have a very special day. Daddy took her to work with him for the morning! Here they are before they left for work. I picked Bella up at lunch time and we all had a date together! I heard she was a wonderful girl at work. She even got two important phone calls to speak to Secretary Bella Rose...one from Pop and one from Aunt Jenny...she told Pop she was watching over all of his money and it was right there in her bag! Haha!

Pop bought Isabella this adorable pink guitar! The funny thing is she holds it right and even knows how to hold her hands when strumming the guitar. Maybe she is going to be a musician?

And finally...here are two random pictures from Uncle Steve's good-bye lunch at A-W. Auntie Jenny is multi-tasking in her office below below.

Vincent meeting Uncle Steve. He was crabby because it was the day he got his shots.

Also, I finished reading "The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes". I LOVED IT! If you ever get a chance to read it I would highly recommend! I really love the way Diane Chamberlain writes. I have not read anything by her before and now I look forward to finding more books by her. I am going to start a series of 6 books by James Patterson that my Mom loaned me. I have my reading cut out for me! Oh and one more thing...Isabella starts Tiny Tots through the City of Chino Hills on March 3rd. She is going Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-1:30! I am excited for her. I know she is going to have so much fun!

L-O-V-E!

Click to play Valentine's Day!

We had a very happy Valentine's Day in our house! This week I left Chris "love notes" every day (on my 101). One day was a card, one day a note on his mirror in the bathroom, one day a slideshow via email, etc. It was really fun to do! On Friday Isabella wasn't feeling good, but we made a quick trip to Grandmas house. She saw the new dog house Poppi made her out of a cardboard box. They are going to decorate the outside together with trees and flowers (a couple pictures in the scrapbook above). When we got home Friday afternoon, Isabella and I baked heart shape cookies. Yesterday morning, Daddy left Isabella a balloon and cookies in her room before she woke up. She was so excited! While Mommy made french toast for Daddy, Bella made Brother and herself a stuffed animal. We had a leisurely morning and then we made a family trip to Costco to buy dinner for the night. Our parents came over and we had yummy Italian food and had a great time visiting, as always. I love to hear the boys laughing and playing pool while us girls visit. Isabella and Vincent should feel so much love...they got so many Valentine's it was like Christmas! And when the doorbell rang it was flowers! 2 dozen roses from Chris..."one dozen for each of his ladies". Such a sweetheart! I hope everyone was able to celebrate the love they share together!! xoxox

Gearing up for Valentine's Day!

This morning we had a Valentine's party with Moms club. Last night Isabella and I had fun making her Valentine's to pass out. We filled bags with candy bracelets and laffy taffy! At the party she got to decorate a paint can, pass out her Valentines into everyone's paint can or bag, play games and hang out with the kids. We had a great time!

More Household News * I'm sure everyone knows that I am now a SAHM (or WAHM ... whatever you want to call me!) and I won't be working at A-W anymore. I have known for about a month now. I am sad I won't see my Dad at work and I didn't expect it to happen so soon, but it did, and it has been nice!! We also went this morning and signed Isabella up for preschool! We have been waiting until the Catholic preschool had registration. She starts a pre-k class in September at St. Paul the Apostle and will be going every day from 9-11:30. I am going to try to get her into Tiny Tots which runs in 6 week sessions before she starts in September to get her use to going to school. I thought I was going to cry just reading the forms to fill out! My little girl is so big!

Readin' Fool!

One of my goals was to read one book every two months. Well, I have been in such a reading mood that I just finished my third book in probably a month...maybe a month and a half! I would recommend all three books. "Such a Pretty Fat" was a really light memoir by Jen Lancaster about her quest to loose weight. It had me laughing a lot. She also wrote "Bitter is the New Black" and "Bright Lights, Big Ass". I hope to read the other two memoirs but right now I am on a Nicholas Sparks kick! "The Choice" was my second book and "Nights in Rodanthe" was my third. They both had me in tears. I am a sucker for a good love story!!! I am really looking forward to seeing Nights in Rodanthe when it comes out on video. If you have a chance, pick up either of the Sparks books. "At First Sight" is my fourth book...I will let you know how it is!
CHANGES: I never started At First Sight because my Mom finished a book and gave it to me Saying I have to read it. It's called Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes. So that is my fourth book! And I will go back to the other for my fifth!

1st Birthday Party!

On Saturday we went to a first birthday party for Dylan... It was a sports theme so we got to wear our favorite team gear! Bubble mania came to put on a show and Bella got "inside" a big bubble! She had a great time playing with the other kids, hitting the pinata and collecting a huge bag full of candy! It was a great party...thanks Sprague family!

On the way home we saw the most amazing rainbow! Pictures will never due it justice. We were in awe. You know how you never really see the other end of the rainbow? Well you could see the complete arch of this rainbow and the other end of it ... It was thick and huge and vibrant. So beautiful!!!

Responsibility Chart!

Little Miss Isabella now has her very own Responsibility Chart! She has been doing GREAT with it. She got to pick where she wanted to hang it so it is in our downstairs hallway right before the kitchen. Each day if she completes her "responsibilities" then she gets to put a magnet on that spot and a prize at the end of the week if all of the spots have a magnet on them. This week we have things like: get dressed, brush teeth, no hitting, take a bath, and get ready for bed. It has coincided nicely with our bedtime routine of taking a bath, brushing teeth, putting jammies on and reading books. My little girl is getting TOO BIG!

Does anyone want to be this Handsome Boy's Valentine?

Little Vincent is two months old! Can you believe it? I took Sister and Brother to get their Valentine's Pictures taken today. They both did really well and I got these two adorable pictures (the one of the two of them is in the sidebar)!

Super Bowl Fun!

Click to play Super Bowl

We had our first ever Super Bowl get-together on Sunday. We were upset our team didn't win, but we still LOVE Kurt Warner and we had a wonderful time with our family...who could ask for anything more?!
