A Fun Day!

We had a really fun day today! Sara and the kids came over this morning for a walk. Well, we wanted to walk at 10am, but it was raining....so, the kids played and watched a movie for a while and Sara and I visited. Then when it stopped raining we went on a nice walk. Later this evening Gram and Popi came over. Pop bought Isabella a horse on a stick and of course she was in heaven riding it!

The kids getting so big! This was while they were watching a movie.

Isabella and Brother later in the afternoon.

They love each other!

Bella riding her horse from Popi and Gram. She even put on her cowgirl hat for us. She says, "Whooaaa" when she wants the horse to stop. And "c'mon girl" when she wants the horse to go. She even sets up obstacle courses for herself to jump over. We truly have a cowgirl on our hands!

Vincent's Baptism

Click to play Vincent's Baptism

On January 10th, our son was welcomed into God's family at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. The weekend he was Baptized the church was celebrating the "Baptism of the Lord" in the scriptures. So, they decided to do something very special and baptize one child per Mass. We were lucky enough to be one of those families! The day started out so great when our Priest, Father Michael, came to visit us at home. Our church is so big that it really made the day and experience more special that Father would want to come and meet our family and explain what was going to be happening at Mass. From the beginning of Mass until the end, they really focused on Vincent and our family. We had the whole parish praying for and blessing us and they even sang Vincent Happy Birthday!! It was such a wonderful day. Chris and I are just so thrilled! Thank you to David and Julie for being the boys Godparents and for all of our family and friends who made it! Vince is truly blessed and we know God will keep watch over him and use him for wonderful things throughout his lifetime....

Vince is 6 weeks old!

I haven't been blogging much because our laptop crashed. Perfect time to cross something off my 101 list, right? But I need that one fixed because it has all my pictures on it!! I really hope they can recover them. Anyhow, here are some recent pictures of our little Vinnie-boy! He is already six weeks old! Can you believe it? On his six week "birthday" he decided to roll over! I was pretty shocked. He was on the flat part of Moms couch and all of a sudden he was on his tummy.
He really is our little happy boy! He loves to smile and laugh when Mommy talks to him.

And here are a couple pictures of an outing we took last week. I was bathing/dressing Vince and I came out of his room to show Daddy that he was ready to go in his very first Ball Cap! Daddy loved it, so I took a couple pictures when we arrived at the mall to shop!

His cheeks really aren't this chubby..he was wiggling around while I took the picture. Isn't it so cute though!

In other exciting Household news...We got our double stroller!!! Woo Hoo! At first I picked out a Sit and Stand and Grammy bought it as one of Vincent's Christmas presents, but I wasn't "sold" on it. So, while we were at Babies R' Us the other day we finally found one I liked after Bella and I tried them all out. With the help of some gift cards (thanks!) we upgraded to this really awesome Graco double stroller that is 20% smaller (that is why I didn't like the double strollers in the first place - so huge!). Isabella likes to sit like this with Vince on the front, but they can also sit Vice Versa. WE LOVE IT! I still use my other stroller when I just have the boy. But I used this one to walk with some of the Moms from my group and to the park to meet Caitlin and the kids! Hopefully this thing will see lots of miles and help me loose lots of lbs!
That's Isabella eating her breakfast in the back :)

The kids at the park. Beauy is working hard to push Bella!

Visitors

Yesterday my Auntie Donna, Aunt Liz and Unkie Mark came to my Mom's for a visit and to meet Vincent for the first time. My poor Uncle had neck surgery the same day Vincent was born, so they haven't been able to come down to meet him. We kept teasing him because when he was holding the baby he could barely look down to see him (you can see in the picture)! Anyhow, we had such a great time and we wish we lived closed so we could see them more often. They brought the most thoughtful and awesome present for me (well, for Vincent). They gave us a framed picture of my Grandpa Vince playing baseball in his Letterman sweater from St. Theresa's High School for the baby's room. How cool is that? I cried, of course!!! They also brought Isabella the perfect present too. A never ending bag of paper, stamps, stickers, scissors, glue, rulers, stapler, etc...all things to do her "work", which we know she loves! Thank you all and we love you so much! See you soon!
