We already miss it...

We are back from Maui!! I think we were all sad to leave. I asked Isabella what we were going to do on the plane ride home and she said, "I know Mom, we can just stay in Hawaii!" Chris and I ranked this as our best trip yet. It was so much fun to see Isabella make new friends, to watch Vincent play in the water, to relax together and to spend time with my Parents. I was truly spoiled by my Husband!! We spent 4 days on the Wailea side of the Island. Went to a Luau, our favorite Mama's Fish House on my birthday, a Plantation Tour, Shopping, let Isabella play a lot in the kids pool, and Chris and Popi snorkeled. They have such a beautiful ocean side path there in Wailea that I took advantage of the time change and went on a few early morning walks with Vincent. We then switched over to Kapalua to our favorite place, The Ritz Carlton. We stayed there two times before they did renovations and it was already our favorite, but now we probably won't be staying anywhere else. Chris got us the Club Level so we had breakfast, snacks/lunch, mid day ice tea and scones, appetizers and drinks the whole time we were there. They also had a candy/snack station and an espresso/cappuccino station set up at all times. It was so perfect! (So perfect that I have been looking up where the other Ritz's are that we can stay ... LOL!). Anyhow, they have added another pool and also a kids pool and playground. The rooms are gorgeous with hardwood floors, lounges, hd plasma TVs, etc (we have been wanting to redo our bathroom and now we know how). We had 2 days with Grammy and Popi at this hotel and then 4 more days after they left. Chris took me to the Spa at the hotel where we got a couples massage! It was the first time for the both of us and we really enjoyed being pampered! We spent time after my parents left just hanging out at the pool and beach and of course eating. Oh and Bubby was really good on the plane rides! Thanks to Chris for a wonderful trip and to Mom and Dad for coming to share this fun vacation and time with us! Until next time Maui....

Mom's Birthday!

The Tuesday before we left for Hawaii we met the family at Cedar Creek Inn in Brea to celebrate Mom's birthday.

Isabella, Grammy & Popi. (Grammy has all that jewelry on because Vincent and Bella gave her that necklace for Hawaii - she was trying it on!)
Amy, Soner & Jon
A toast to the Birthday lady and our family.

Mother's Day!

We had such a Wonderful Mother's Day! When I woke up there was a card from Vincent with pink roses and a card from Isabella with a spring bouquet. It was so sweet and thoughtful. While I had gone out to do errands on Saturday, Daddy took the kids to the store! Isabella signed her own card, so of course it made me cry! We got ready and headed to Grammy and Pops where we had a wonderful BBQ of different kabobs! All our family joined us for the day. We even celebrated My Birthday & Moms birthday...I am so excited that I got Dirty Dancing tickets. My sisters and Mom are taking me on the 14th of June. I can not wait! I also got a beautiful Brighton Cross bookmark from Dave, Julie & the kids with Chicken Soup for the Stay at home/Work from home Moms and some money from the Calagnas to spend on something special in Hawaii. I am truly blessed! Oh - and Daddy opened champagne last night saying it was to start my 2 week long birthday celebration. I love that man!!

Rice Cereal Time!

Vincent had his first taste of Rice Cereal tonight. It took him a while to get use to the spoon, but overall he liked it and ate several bites. He kept doing raspberries and blowing bubbles while he was eating. Silly boy!

Could these be any cuter?!

Vincent turned 5 months old :) These are his pictures we had done today. I want to do a wall of photos upstairs and the lady talked me into these adorable "Faces" collection pictures at Kiddie Kandids. Really she didn't have to twist my arm too much...they couldn't be any cuter. I love how she captured his two bottom teeth! He is in a Hawaiian shirt since he will be taking his frist trip to Hawaii. Guess I will have Sissy's pictures done just the same next month. We have a check-up tomorrow for Vincent and he has to get his shots :( Poor baby! I will update with weight and height!

UPDATE: "The Bubster" as we call him is 19lbs and 13oz. He is 28 1/4 inches tall...which is 97% in weight and off the chart in height. Maybe he will be a tall boy?! Doctor says he is perfect and it is time to start him on rice cereal at night. Also, his top two teeth should be poking through anytime. He got 3 shots and one oral vacine...poor Baby!!
