Bzzzzz......

Queen Bee's were buzzing around today, let me tell you!

First off, here are the adorable crowns I made (with the help of my daughter) for the 2 Queen Bees at each game! And a picture of what it looked like after Maddie got it for scoring 4 goals in the 4th and playing great defense!

Is there ever a time when you just fall more in love with a person? Seeing this below made my heart swell! Chris did amazing with the girls and they played so great. With the both halfs our team won 9 - 2 (even though we don't keep score).

And here is Isabella's most wonderful and loving cheering section. They rock!

Happy weekend Y'all!

Coach Debut (and a Ref, too!)

Chris made his coaching debut this morning and did a great job! Our half of the team won 6-2! And somehow, I made my refereeing debut. Oh Lord! I did not sign up for that! Although I got lots of comments on the husband/wife duo, I really hope I do not have to do that again... I don't know much about the game and I didn't get to take any pictures. We had to take them all after at breakfast!

Go Queen Bees & Coach Chris!

LA County Fair

On Friday afternoon, our Girl Scout troop marched in a parade at the LA County Fair. They looked adorable in their new Girl Scouts Rock bling shirts. We were able to go on a couple of rides after the parade but then needed to head home for an early morning Soccer game.

Below are some great pictures taken by another parent!

I'm Here!

I must thank my dear Caitlin for checking in on me. I am here, just busy as usual! We are all doing well on our end.

Here are some pictures from Isabella's first game. It was a 2pm game and excruciatingly hot. Chris is going to be helping Coach on Saturday's so the team can split up, but because the other team was down two players we switched off and it was very hectic. I am looking forward to a smoother game tomorrow morning and his coaching debut.

I have also been busy with some very fun work projects. I had the honor of creating Bianca and Alan's wedding ensemble! I love the way it turned out. If you saw the Save the Dates, you know they go perfectly. I am going to be doing a feature on the RC blog soon. I also got to create Taylor's 2nd bday Bubble invitations, which I also thought came out darling. And I have done some work for my friend Jenny B. The table number and menu were for a mock set up for her and the right hand bottom corner are postcard handouts.

And finally I did a re-vamp of my business logo, etc. I updated www.RebeccaCalagna.com to include a 2nd portal that is now my Inviation site. I will not be having the shop anymore, but it will be for the best. I created new business cards, etsy shop, facebook and blog materials so far. I still have more to go. Check it all out online.

I hope everyone is doing well. Miss you all!

Brownies Begins

Yesterday was our first Brownie meeting of the year. We started off with Scout Mass @ church. Isabella volunteered to present the gifts. After Mass we had our first meeting - we are a Rainbow Troop, so both Brownies and Daisies are under one troop. Thanks to our awesome Leaders for their hard work! We are looking forward to a fun year!

Whole lot of Random ...

Yes, that is a picture of my very first loaf of Banana Bread! Last weekend I was working really hard to clean everything and I have been in a very domestic mood lately. I had bananas that were growing old and I really didn't want to throw them away. My family enjoyed it! I have since been feeding them with brownies, muffins, you name it. They deserve treats.

The next day or two Isabella was entertaining herself and wanted to put on  a show. She decorated the banner. I walked by and thought, "She has the touch!!"She put bows at every section where the bandannas' came together. It was very cute and creative.

The kids are really getting into the school spirit. Isabella has looked so cute that I wanted to take her picture. She picks out her clothes the night before and hangs them up and tells me in the morning exactly how she wants her hair. Vincent loves wearing all his new pairs of shoes to school. He just also loves school itself and asks every day if he can go.  His share day is Thursday and so far he shared a big T-rex and his Fireman hat :)

The other day the kids got a package in the mail from their Great Auntie Donna. It was so adorable and they loved opening the boxes. Aunt Donna, thank you so much for thinking of my children and for the beautiful messages you sent us (Chris wants to know where his card is!!!)....We love you so much!! PS...Vincent asks every day "Where is my delivery??" He gets the box and carries it around.

And finally, I am the Soccer Mom. I also signed up to be the Room Mom. As Bianca says, "It is my calling!". I made the fun bows, ordered the banner and organized myself with a cute binder! I will ask now....Lord, help me!
