Random

This week we had the start of preschool back up. Both Tuesday and Thursday Isabella was ready by 8:30 and asking every few minutes if it was time to leave yet!

Vincent also slept in his crib all night for the first time! He did GREAT! I know...I kept him in the bassinet way too long and he finally outgrew it. But I did the same with Isabella. Loved having them next to the bed!

The joys of staying at home...yesterday Isabella asked me to play "SUPER SISTERS"! She had put on a blanket around her neck and I had to do the same. She told me, "I am Super Girl...I can save everyone AND I drink Root Beer!". lol! My girl does have an imagination!

Not that you guys are really that interested...but Bianca these are for you because you sparked this project I worked on Monday. I really wanted to get a jewelry armoire, but then I thought why not just use the cool end table space that I do have. So I got these plastic dividers and plastic jars that are really used for scrapbooking. I was able to put some necklaces and mostly earrings in the jars. Then I used the drawer above for my broaches and other special jewelry, and the cool bottom drawer in my end table that already had jewelry dividers. It still looks a little messy. But it turned out nice and I am happy to be able to actually see all the stuff I do have! I also worked on boxing up all my Maternity clothes, moving back my "normal" clothes that I had moved to make space for the maternity ones, and organizing my shoes and purses...so my closet is back to normal again too!

Another Fun-Filled Weekend!

I took out Bella's old Baby Einstein Exercauser. Vince gets really into it for about 10 minutes and then he is done:) Hey, better than nothing! On Friday we found one bottom tooth popping through and last night we saw the second bottom tooth! He is getting so big...

Here are Brother and Sissy watching a movie at Grammy & Popi's on Friday. This was after Bella, Vince and I met Bianca at Happy Nails for some much needed nail-time! Isabella was so proud of her nails...they were the first thing she showed everyone.
Saturday we woke up bright and early for our annual MS Walk! We only had 11(including my kids) walkers this year, but we had a great time. Mom brought her scooter and actually was able to go on the walk with us this year. We enjoyed some yummy food after at the VIP tent.

Saturday night I picked up Caitlin and we headed to Teren's bday party! Happy 30th T! Love you.
On Sunday we had the Titone-Perez kids birthday party! Unfortunately one of Daddy's really good clients passed away and he attended the funeral so he couldn't make it to the party. We had a blast though...thanks Rebecca for a wonderful party. There was face painting, a bounce house, chocolate fountain and balloon girl. Isabella is still playing with the hat/wand below and all her goodies from the party!

This week and weekend should be pretty mellow with Uncle Nick home from the hospital (Thank God! And thanks again everyone for the Prayers!) and no planned activities besides pre-school starting back. Hopefully just some packing and list making of needed things for our trip! Love to everyone.

Our Weekend

The other morning when Isabella woke up she wanted to have a tea party. Here she is during our morning tea with animal cracker treats.

Poor Uncle Nick is in the hospital with phemonia :( He has been there since Wednesday and we are all praying he gets better soon. On our way to visit him on Saturday, I looked back and Bella was fast asleep holding Brother's hand. I thought it was so sweet.

Sunday it was perfect weather to enjoy Mom and Dad's backyard! Chris BBQ'd and the Parrino family joined us. Here is Chris and the kids "practicing" for Hawaii!!

The One Flaw in Women...

My beautiful Aunt Deeds sent this poem to me via email. I have read it before but forgot how much I LOVE IT! It copies and pastes into one paragraph so, sorry about that! To all the important women in my life...you are true ispirations!
By the time the Lord made woman,He was into his sixth day of working overtime. An angel appeared and said,'Why are you spending so much time on this one?'And the Lord answered, 'Have you seen my spec sheet on her?She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceableand able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart-and she will do everythingwith only two hands.'The angel was astounded at the requirements.'Only two hands!? No way!And that's just on the standard model? That's too much work for one day.Wait until tomorrow to finish.''But I won't , ' the Lord protested.'I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can work 18 hour days.'The angel moved closer and touched the woman.'But you have made her so soft, Lord.''She is soft,' the Lord agreed,'but I have also made her tough...You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish.''Will she be able to think?', asked the angel. The Lord replied,'Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate.'The angel then noticed something, and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.'Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one.''That's not a leak,'the Lord corrected,'that's a tear!''What's the tear for?' the angel asked. The Lord said, 'The tear is her way of expressing her joy,her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride.'The angel was impressed.'You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything!Woman is truly amazing.'And she is!Women have strengths that amaze men. They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happyand laugh when they are nervous. They fight for what they believe in.They stand up to injustice. They don't take 'no' for an answerwhen they believe there is a better solution. They go without so their family can have. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend. They love unconditionally. They cry when their children exceland cheer when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear abouta birth or a wedding.Their hearts break when a friend dies...They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kisscan heal a broken heart.Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail youto show how much they care about you.The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends.Women have vital things to say and everything to give
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE TINY FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH...

Sweet Boy!

Vince is 4 months old!!! He is such a sweet and happy baby boy...I love the way he smiles when someone talks to him and how he squeals and laughs. He is looking more like his Daddy and Sissy as he gets older! His official 4 month pictures will be the kids Easter pictures we are taking on Monday. Stay tuned.

An eventful couple of days....

What started out as a beautiful Wednesday, kinda turned into a wreck. Isabella and I were outside starting to plant when we got a call from Grammy. She had fell and hit her head on the bed post and it was dripping blood. We raced to Villa Park and took her to the emergency room (she refused an ambulance ride but they did come, check her out and stop the bleeding). She had to have stitches and a cat scan to make sure everything was OK. Poor Gram!!!! Of course, it was only five minutes after my Dad had left to catch a plane to Arizona for business. Thank God she is OK.

This afternoon while Bella was at school, I had a great visit with Christie and baby Matthew. He is so little and adorable! He slept in his car seat the whole time so I didn't get to hold him. But I can't wait to do so soon....I am so happy for the Slider family!

And I had to share another really cool purchase I made. This is Isabella's very own Keepsake Portfolio to keep all of school/artwork for years to come!
