Beautiful Taylor

Taylor is trying out for High School cheer and she needed some "head shots". I took these pictures this afternoon at Mom and Dad's. She will kill me if she knows I put them on this blog. LOL! But she is so beautiful and has grown so much. Good luck Tay... We love you!

Prayers Needed!

A lifelong friend of my Brother and our family, Wayne and his wife Jen lost their baby boy, Samuel Vincent, right before he was going to be born and brought into this world. This is such a heart wrenching thing. The funeral services are next week and I am just asking that you keep their family in your prayers.... That God might lift some of their remorse and grief, so they can somehow find the strength to make it through....

Library Tote!

I had to share this ADORABLE purchase I made! Isabella's new Library Tote. I just love it! It has a little girl with pig tails holding books and there is even a plastic card holder attached by a pink polka-dot ribbon (for the Library Card). We put it to good use this afternoon after preschool!

Just Because...

I thought this was too cute not to share...Last week Isabella had a "Jammie Party" at preschool. She got to wear her pajamas, bring a pillow and a blankie. They laid on the floor, watched movies and made popcorn. Too cute!

Our Saturday

Here are a few pictures from Popi's birthday on Saturday. He wanted to take Bella to ride the horses at Irvine park. Of course, she wanted to wear her pink "cow-girl" boots and she wouldn't take them off, even for Jacob's T-ball game we went to after...We had a good day despite Pop being sick (he was a trooper) and little monkey Jake was so fun to watch playing ball!

Day 7 - Easy like Sunday Morning

We usually have a relaxing Sunday morning and today was the same (Then late morning, Chris took the kids to visit his parents so I could get work done). Anyhow, every morning I make myself Hot Tea. We still also make a pot of coffee, but I have been trying to drink less caffeine. I sometimes find myself making several cups of tea throughout the day...it's pretty soothing and relaxing. My all-time favorites are Peppermint and Chamomile, but any fruit kind will do. And every morning Isabella is either coloring or painting. We love our crafts! My Mom had this cool little tray that Bella uses to color. I need to give that back and find our own. Hope everyone had a great weekend. T-dog, I am sad our week is over! I had fun doing sharing these pictures with you. And I LOVED all of yours!

Saturday Picture - Popi

Sorry this post is rather late. We just got home from celebrating Popi Guy's birthday. More pictures to come tomorrow, but I wanted to give you just one special one. Bella and her Pop are so attached. They love to be around each other and are always laughing together. It really warms my heart to see and makes me remember the important things in life...How truly blessed I am with this family.

Multi-tasking is in her blood!

Day 4 Picture

I pulled back the drapes this afternoon because Isabella wanted to play outside after preschool. Here is what I saw...the hill in our backyard covered in these beautiful yellow and orange flowers! I was always so disappointed because I thought we didn't get as many flowers on our hill as everyone else, but today I was amazed. It made me smile and so happy to see. It also had me reflecting on the fact that I have come to love our house and love Chino Hills. This city has everything! And with Isabella in preschool...I guess it has really started to feel like home. The only reason I consider moving is because it is not as close to my parents as I would like. Seeing all the beautiful spring flowers also renewed my want to garden. So I think that will be on my project list next week. I would like to plant flowers out in front of our house. Stay tuned for pictures! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful day outside...

Wednesday Picture - WORK WORK WORK!

Here is my Wednesday picture....you know I don't really like when everything is disorganized, but this is my office today (a project table topped with so much). I have three projects going on right now and I am trying to work away! I worked last night and of course it was on my mind while I slept, so I am back at it again this morning.

Tuesday Pic - A Morning Walk

My photo for today...I have been trying so hard to go on a walk first thing in the morning before Chris leaves for work. I use to take the kids during the afternoon, but the double stroller and the hills (while a much better work out) was getting to be too much. Plus, once my day starts it is hard to get the motivation to get out and exercise. With Isabella in preschool Tues/Thurs I was thinking I would walk during that time but there are always errands to be done! Anyway, I have been going while Chris is up and getting ready for work and then it leaves the day to do all the other stuff that need to be done. These are the things I take...my sweatshirt (it has been cold!), my ipod, phone and water. I have lost 26lbs so far and am working on 30 more! I want to loose as much as I can before Hawaii...2 months and counting!

A Week of "Days" - Day 1

There are two friends that decided to take a picture every morning, for a year, and then blog about it in order to be in each other's lives despite living miles apart (the blog got them a book deal on Martha Stewart!). Anyhow, I saw that one of Sara's friends was doing it with her best friend on their family blog. I thought, why not? Teren and I don't get to see each other or talk to each other as much as we would like and we once did. So I asked her if she would like to start this project for a week. And here we are! We are making up our own rules though (don't we always?!) and taking a picture throughout our day and posting it during the afternoon/at night.

Of course, I couldn't decide on one picture today...so here are three pictures for today.

I have been trying to take Isabella to the library once a week or once every two weeks. I just found out that Chino Hills has a brand new library, so we headed over there today. It is SUPER NICE! I was amazed. (I knew you would like the picture of all the books, T). I have even started checking out books for myself. I think it is so much fun. But my main two pictures are next..

I took this picture of Isabella because she amazes me every day with what she can do on the computer! The new library had tons of computers set up with kids games on them. It was really hard to break her away. I can't believe how big she is! And then when we came home, this little man was playing on his Einstein mat and had both animals grabbed and was blabbing away to them. It was so cute. They grow SO FAST!!!!

Okay everyone, check out Teren's blog to see her pic for the day too!!

Our Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. On Saturday, Mommy and Isabella had a date to the Ballet. We saw the Little Mermaid Ballet at Bridges Auditorium in Claremont. It was a lot of fun. Isabella really enjoyed watching the dancing...she even put on a little dance of her own during intermission and asked if she could take a picture with Ariel and get her autograph at the end. The Calagna family missed the kids, so when we got home from the Ballet they were waiting. We had dinner and played Wii bowling. FUN!

Yesterday we celebrated Aunt Jenny, Poppy and Little Jon's birthdays by going to the Pirate Dinner adventure. Again, Isabella had a great day. She was loving it! Cheering, singing, clapping and waving her mug back and forth to the music. On the other hand, it was too loud for poor Brother. He slept through some of it, but cried during a lot of it too. You can't see his shirt, but it said, "My Dad is cooler than your Dad." So cute! We would recommend the Pirate show to all of you who want to see it! We had a little tail-gate present opening after the show! I am so happy everyone loved their gifts and enjoyed themselves.

First Road Trip of the Year!

Bella Rose's first day of Preschool!

Isabella made it through her first day of preschool. Mommy made it too :) She had such a great time and could care less when it was time for Mom to leave. She was already laying on the floor playing and making herself at home! There was one little girl who was sad when her Mommy had to leave, so Isabella went and asked her if she wanted to play. It was so sweet! She told me a few things about her day, but mostly said, "I can't tell you" when we asked her...Like it was some sort of top-secret. Hah! She did some crafts and they worked on the letter "a". When she got home she asked for a paper plate and showed me how she painted one at school. This morning she woke up and said, "Mommy, Preschool today??". I know she will be super excited to go back tomorrow.

She picked out this outfit to wear from her closet!

Showing off her Strawberry Shortcake backpack!

Already making herself at home! I am so proud of her for making friends!

Vincent Guy - 3 months old!

Vincent Guy is 3 months old today! Sister and I took him to Kiddie Kandids this morning to get his pictures taken. He did such a good job! These will come up small because they are just the proofs, but I had to share and post them. I love my little smiley boy!

A Few Highlights

We had a busy week again! Tuesday was Drew's 3rd birthday. They came over for a quick picnic lunch on the living room floor. And here is Bella showing Drew how to play the computer game!Wednesday was park day. My girl LOVES playing in the sand.

And here she is getting mad at the "boys"! I found her with her hands on her hips and tapping her foot. She said they were very bad boys because one dumped sand on another little girls head!

Saturday we had Papa Joe's birthday party! This is the play house Bella has in the Calagna's back yard. My dad loved this...said she looks like a little dutch girl!

Blowing out the candles with Papa Joe.

And here is my new computer! WOO HOO! I got it on Monday and didn't have a chance to hook it up until Saturday and Sunday. I love it!

Yesterday I went suit shopping with Chris! It was really fun, although we were in the store for 3 hours (good thing we dropped off the kids first!). He bought FIVE suits, four pairs of slacks, new sunglasses, a casual jacket, lots of shirts amongst other things. I am so happy for him, he rarely buys clothing for himself. He is a NEW MAN! Hah! After our shopping extravaganza we had a wonderful dinner date at McCormick and Schmidts. It was supper yummy! We have another big week coming up with Isabella's first day of preschool tomorrow and a fun trip to Vegas Thurs-Sun and Teegan's first birthday party on Sun. Always a busy family, huh?
