Last Day of Swim!

Isabella had her last day of swim today. She has gotten so brave in the water and really improved. Of course she still has a long way to go until she is an olympic swimmer. She was super sad it was her last day and will miss Miss. Laura and Miss. Gina.

Vegas Baby!

Thursday after swim we dropped the kids off at Papa Joe's and Grammy Alice's house. When we went to leave, Chris' car would not start. We got it jumped and all was good. Well, Chris decided to do the mature thing and we stopped at Sears in Victorville on our way to get a new battery. The guy said we were the second car in line and that car would probably take 30 minutes. No big deal! We walked around the mall, got a snack and walked back. We had still not got a call on Chris' phone and that was about an hour later. Well, it took THREE hours!!!! For a car battery. It was ridiculous! We were so sad that this was cutting in to our first night away.

But on the drive to Vegas we enjoyed each other's company and got to relax without worrying if the car was going to start when we went to go home. We stayed at the Bellagio (where we got engaged). I can honestly say walking by the conservatory makes me smile and my heart happy every time. It was gorgeous as usual...

Friday afternoon we ate lunch at Cheesecake factory. Yum! On Friday night after a lot of shopping done by me and gambling done by Chris, we ate sushi and then headed to the Piano bar and Cigar lounge in the Paris hotel. We loved it.

Chris lightin' up his cigar and me with my martini.

Saturday was Chris' bday. We woke up early and made our way to the Ventian to eat at Grand Luxe. Our favorite restaurant. Here is Chris so happy that Isabella and Poppi called to sing him Happy Birthday.

I had to take this picture. Wouldn't it be gorgeous for a wedding (on a smaller scale)!
I got to read Mommywood! LOVE TORI!

That night we went to a nice dinner at BOA Steakhouse and then to see LOVE!

We missed our kids, but really had a wonderful time together. When we drove to pick them up, we had a nice family bbq and swimming for Chris' bday and Aunt Amy's bday. Grammy and Popi made yummy food and the Calagnas were able to join us! Happy Birthday Chris and Amy!

PRICELESS!

First Day of Swim!

Today we had our first day of swim lessons. We will go every day for two weeks :) Isabella loved her teacher. She is learning how to kick big, float, move her arms to swim and dunk her head under water. She did not like dunking her head...she said to me after, "Mom, my teacher shouldn't have asked me to do that!". She will get the hang of it!

Birthday Girl!

Isabella has a wonderful 4th birthday. We started out the morning with our traditional Breakfast Toast and then she got to open her presents from Brother and Mom and Dad. Then we headed to the park for her Cowgirl birthday party with light pink and dark pink, just as she requested! It was so hot though that she could not wear her hat or boots :( But she didn't mind. She was so excited her friends were there to play, do crafts, eat cupcakes and bang the pinata! After the party Daddy put together her new bike and she played with all her new toys. As she was playing with her new Princess bath barbies, she said, "It was the best birthday I ever had!"

Birthday Princess

On Friday I wanted to have a special day with Bella since her cowgirl party was on her actual birthday. So Grammy, Isabella and I (And Vincent) went to breakfast with the Princesses at California Adventure. It was so much fun! Right when we walked in, Isabella got to meet and visit with Ariel. It was so sweet to see Ariel holding Isabella's hands and talking to her. I asked her what Ariel said, "She said she loved my bracelets"! So cute! We had a yummy breakfast and Snow White, Cinderella (Cinder"bella"), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Belle all visited with with us and took pictures with Isabella. We had them autograph the special photo we got of her and Ariel. After it was over we did a little shopping for a birthday prize and then we headed home. That night we went to BJs for dinner. It is our little tradition to have pizza on the night Isabella was born , but since we wouldn't be having it Saturday, we had it the night before. I would say she had a really special day!

The Shoppes of CH Fountain

Today we got our nails done with Bianca and then headed out to do some party errands. After Costco and the grocery store, I took Bella over to the fountain at the Shoppes. We always see the kids having such a blast there and I thought it would be fun for her. She loved it!

I was wondering where she was when the water got super crazy...she is back in the corner sitting down :) See the rose petals on the ground in the bottom right hand corner? She took my cup and collected every rose petal that the other kids had thrown on the floor and
insisted we bring them home.

This is how Vincent rolls :) With his feet up on the stroller bar. He kicks back and every one that passes him just cracks up! And do you see his top two teeth!

A few cute ones this week

Isabella waiting for Dance Class. She loves it!

This picture CRACKS me up! This is Bella's favorite move where you tap your toe behind your leg. She couldn't do it at first but then I caught her practicing around the house. She told me, "Did you see me do that Mom? It is really hard for little kids to do. Only I can do it." She makes me laugh all the time. Look how hard she is concentrating on watching her foot go behind her leg with her upper body bent toward it. Oh Bella!

Yesterday we met my Lil' Sis Sarah (from sorority) and her daughter Ava at the park. Ava is a doll...she is two weeks older than Vincent (I didn't get any pictures) and has red hair. Here are a couple cute pictures of the kids I took before hand though.

Amy and Soner's Wedding

Here are the few pictures I took from Amy and Soner's wedding. The day turned out perfect and you could tell how happy Amy & Soner are to be married. My Mom was the Minister and she did a wonderful job! Dad sang the Lord's Prayer and had Aunt Amy in tears along with most everyone else. Aunt Amy looked gorgeous. My heart was touched because she wore our Grandma's (Mom's Mom) crystal necklace that I wore on my Wedding day. Along with Chris' Grandma Rose's crystal earrings. She also wore the blue heart crystal that I wore as her something blue. It was beautiful and makes me so happy to see her in love and starting her new life with Soner....hopefully a baby Kiyiskan will come along soon!!

Above is my handsome little man and below is my beautiful family which I am so blessed to have.
