Life has been nutty, especially with me getting use to working (I know, only 2 days, but still!). Here are some few softball pictures over the last couple of weeks. Playoffs start tonight - prayers for a little girl who needs some hits to get her confidence going again!

Working Girl
I think most of you know, but I am currently working for my friend Jen of Jenny B. Floral Design as her floral coordinator/assistant. He assistant left to take a new job at Surf & Sand hotel. So it worked out perfectly for me. Two days a week I will be doing her emailing, Facebook, and some floral appointments.
This was a photo of 2 of the girls working in the back on Wednesday.
Jen is also moving in to a bigger spot on Commonwealth. It will be retail in the front and I am renting this spot from her to display invitations. It will obviously not be these colors and none of that stuff will there. I am going to put a desk in the front of this spot where I can do my invitation consultations! I am BEYOND excited about this opportunity. I think it is going to be great!

G. Auntie Donna
Last week Auntie Donna game to visit us. We had such a fun week and I know she was exhausted by the time she left. Mentally exhausted from Vincent talking her ear off and physically exhausted from me dragging her around!! She helped grocery shop, cook dinners, play with kids and she even bought a left handed glove so she could play catch with Bella. The kids love her and when she went home Vincent said, "I really like Auntie Donna...I gonna MISS HER!". Come back soon!!!

Vacation by Isabella
These pictures were taken by Isabella on her iPod and my little camera. Only a couple days in did we think about letting her take the little camera and take pictures. She loves it and I loved scrolling through to see what she captured through her eyes.
I did it and I should be proud!
I am going to post this before I lose motivation and faith in myself. Both of which I have been struggling with the past few weeks. However, I can not diminish the fact that I did it - I reached my initial goal and lost 52lbs. I have since tried to loose another 5-10 lbs (to make it to what I call wedding weight) but the motivation has not been there. I am going to keep working. I was given the tools to make this a "lean for life" process. I am going to be making changes for my family and myself with eating clean and healthy (expect some posts on Gourmet Girlfriends).
This is the little ticker I had at the bottom of the blog to keep me motivated.

Spring Break - Lake Tahoe 2013
We had so much fun on vacation - this was our 4th year going to Lake Tahoe over Spring Break! We drove half way and spent the night in Bishop on Easter. We got up early, stopped at our favorite Schat's Bakery to load up on bread and then headed the rest of the way to Lake Tahoe. While there we bowled, shopped, sledded, took a walk/hike along the beach and through the woods, went to the spa and relaxed a lot. Since we had to be back for games on Saturday, we headed home on Friday. Our 4 days went by way too fast!!!

Blessed Easter
What a super blessed Easter we had!
This year I was not going to make our Bunny cake because no one ever eats it. Honestly, my Mom still had the bunny head from last year in the freezer. However, being the person I am, I couldn't stop making the cake after 9 years! So, a small bunny we made. We laughed so hard saying it looked like a kitty rather than a bunny because the ears were so tiny. Isabella also made these adorable tomb treats to represent the true meaning of Easter and Resurrection of Jesus Christ!
While Mommy and Bella were prepping, Daddy and Vincent went to get hair cuts! When they got back, Isabella and Vincent colored Easter eggs. We packed up and headed to Grammy and Popi's house for the night.

The Easter Bunny found us at Grammy and Popi's house. The kids were so excited with what they got in their baskets.
Cousin love! We only had 3 little kids for the Easter hunt this year, but next year there will be FIVE! We really missed Aunt Amy this year but know she is in the right place to keep those babies healthy and thriving. She has reached 30 weeks. At 32 weeks they will make a plan and possibly she can go home at 34 weeks. The babies each weigh a little over 2 lbs. Oh how thrilled she will be! I love her so much and am so proud of her. Praise the Lord (sorry for the tangent)!!
We headed out after dinner, home to pack and off to Lake Tahoe for the week. Pictures to follow.
Week before last...
Guess what?! Last Thursday, Miss Isabella hit a GRAND SLAM and won the game for the Diamond Divas. It was the most amazing experience for us to watch. All us adults had tears in our eyes...the girls all came out of the dugout and were patting Isabella's helmet. It was awesome! I forgot my camera, of course. But I got our celebration dinner at Chick Fil A where we met up with Lana and her family!
Isabella got out early Friday afternoon, so we went and took Aunt Amy for a little ride. Saturday after making all of our treats, we packed up and headed to spend the night at Grammy and Popis. Chris and I met his customers at the Dodger/Angel game and had a blast.
