I am way out of order here but I think I finally caught myself up on all the Calagna happenings. These pictures were from last Thursday when we met our Teachers and then had a Yogurtland date. Love these two!

Bella the Baker
A few Saturday's ago, Aunt Liz came down and gave Isabella a decorating lesson. She started with how to make traditional Buttercream icing and decorating stars. She loves it so much and has since made two cakes. Even a "Back2School" cake with a W for Wickman Wildcats. I would love her to start a kids baking/cooking blog and she is over the moon about the idea. Who knows, maybe she will get on Rachel and Guy's Kids Cook-Off.

Isabella turns 9!
And finally... Isabella turned 9 on July 18th. We had our traditional morning celebration!!
My beauty so grown up!
She and Vincent had Bible School until Noon. After that we headed to have lunch with Grammy and Popi. She chose Islands. Daddy surprised us with a box of Softballs!
We had a bit to rest before we headed off to Yorba Linda Ice for her Frozen birthday party. She had the best time ice-skating with her family and friends and sharing ice-cream sundaes. I think she was very happy and couldn't have asked for a better Birthday!
Finishing up with Horses!
We had Bella's last horse lesson on Sunday afternoon. She absolutely loves Horses, but we have to settle into our school schedule and get through winter ball before we have some free time to take some more lessons. She can for sure brush, saddle and hoof pick. She was working on trotting this last lesson on a smaller horse. It was fun to watch!
First Day of School 2014
Oh the night before school when all through the house... we had our traditional Back 2 School Spaghetti feast, laid our clothing out, read books and went to bed early.
Both of my children were so excited for the school year to start. Isabella in 4th Grade with Mr. Frescas and Vincent in Kindergarten with Mrs. Malo.
We walked to school with our friends, JJ and Lana! Vincent has so many friends in his class, but unfortunately is split up from dear little Courtney. It's okay, we are going to carpool home with her!
After we sent Isabella off to class, we had Kindergarten Orientation. Daddy got to join us and it is fun to see Vincent and his TK friends officially be Wildcats!
Here is to a WONDERFUL school year filled with many memories and GOOD GRADES!
Vincent does Soccer!
Vincent started soccer! This was his second practice and he really enjoyed it. His games start on the 13th and we are excited to watch him play. His team color is red (which we had to tell him it was okay - you know, we don't like RED teams) and his is number 10...GO NINJAS!

Vacation 2014
We had some really fun and relaxing family time on our week vacation. We started out in Vegas for a couple of days....
Then we met up with Papa Joe and Grammy Alice in Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately the first morning we got the news of Mom's broken arm so that was so worrisome. We still had a wonderful and memorable time. Looking forward to camping again!!

Grammy
Poor Grammy is trying to hang in there! She is now in a weighted cast (which is super heavy for her) until Friday when hopefully it will be progressed enough that they can put a regular cast on. Doctor said it will probably take up to 6 months to heal in part because of the MS. Bless her heart. We are doing everything we can to help but wish there was more. Thank you all for your continued prayers!!
She got a pink cast per Bella and Rylie's request. Here Bella is signing it.
Horse Lessons
For Bella's Bday, Grammy and Popi bought her 4 lessons with OC Riding and the gorgeous boots she is wearing. Today was her first lesson and we will fit all four in before school starts in two weeks!
LA ZOO
Just realized how behind I am on this blog. I haven't even done Miss Bella's 9th bday or our little family vacation. Hopefully I will have some time this week to catch up.
Sunday, we had a family day to the LA ZOO. Thanks Bianca for the tickets (for Christmas - which we FINALLY used!)!!! We had a super fun time and even got to take Aunt Donna along for the fun!
