Theatre Camp

Isabella had a GREAT week at Theatre camp!! The play was Peter Pan and it was much more organized than last year. Isabella played the star Flash and had about 6 or so lines. She was one of the only ones who turned toward the crowd and spoke loud and clear. She is also very fun to watch singing with her facial expressions.



It is always so wonderful that Isabella has such supportive and loving Grandparents there at her events. We went to CH Pizza Co. afterward and the kids had a blast earning tickets and picking out prizes. A great Friday night!!!

 

Random Updates

Let's see. I feel like so much has been going on, but yet when I go to write about it, I can't even think of what it was. Last week, which seems like absolutely forever ago, we had our windows cleaned, house cleaned and carpets cleaned. Also Popi put in new floor in our bathroom by the shower (bottom collage to the left). Last weekend Lauren next door had two open houses so we had to get out and about. Saturday we went bowling and Sunday we went looking at houses. Unfortunately, it looks like we will be staying put for at least another year. We did not get the first house we wanted and we couldn't find another house that would compare. Chris and I did pros and cons on each city we were considering and also moving in general. We aren't really the fixer upper people, so we can't see uprooting from our beautiful home at this time. And all the new homes have NO land and if we are to move, it is going to be a place were we have land.

On a side note, yesterday was free Slurpees at 7-11 (bottom 3 pics on the collage above).

  And I just loved these two things while looking at model homes. Maybe I can do that on Isabella's ceiling. And love the brick wall inside this house.

Nixon Bridal Show

Last weekend I participated in the Nixon Bridal Show as part of Jenny B Floral Design and also did an Invitation set up! I seemed to get a lot of interest in the invites and I hope to be getting lots of emails/calls soon!!!

 

Officially..

We have officially listed our house for sale (Open houses Saturday and Sunday). We have been working hard all week to get it together - especially Popi who has been working extra hard!!  We don't know what exactly the future holds, since we found our perfect house but got beat out. We are going to keep optimistic and know we will find a place that we love. If we decide to stay in Chino Hills - there is NOTHING bad about that.
 

Happy 4th of July!

This was the first year in many that we were home on 4th of July! We missed Texas (and the fact that it was only 80 degrees this time)! But we did have a fun time hanging with the family at Aunt Amy's house. Thanks for hosting - we love you! Happy Birthday America!!

 

Lots of Photos!

I have a ton of photos on this post to play catch up. Life is moving so fast and I barely have blogging time anymore. I never thought I would say that but now I know how busy it can get. I still read everyone's posts even if I don't have the chance to comment. It always makes me feel "in the loop' to see what is going on with you all.

Anyhow, we will start with the adorable TWIN-KIES. We love them so much. They are beautiful and growing bigger day by day. I love these precious ones and can't even imagine how it was without them here...

Work is still going AWESOME! I love it so much! I am constantly busy interacting with customers and doing what I love to do - keeping things organized. I have been able to help on Wedding setups this past month and that has been a blast! I am looking forward to moving completely into the new shop starting July 1st. I believe we will be having a Grand Opening party in September. Keep you posted on that. I would love to have you all visit and see where I will be working.

The kids have been enjoying the pool with Popi on Friday afternoons!! They have a blast being thrown up in the air and spun around. Vincent is my fearless one. He loves to stick his head in the water and just swim. Isabella is getting much stronger in her swimming. They would never get out if they didn't have to.

A week or so ago, Chris' customer gave us Angel tickets. We aren't Angel or Yankee fans, but it was nice to catch a good ball game and see the fireworks after. Kids love it. Bella was very interested in the details of the game; I expected nothing less.

The same day as the Angel game, the kids' and I drove down to have lunch with Chris. We took him part of his Father's Day Present. A beautiful orchid plant and 2 canvas photos of the kids playing ball. The sign I made says, "A Dad is his Daughter's First Love and his Son's First Hero". It fits my Husband perfectly and I am glad he gets to look at those pictures every day.  

 

 And finally two pictures from Bella's week at Baseball/Softball camp. She had a blast with her friend Lana and was doing some serious hustling playing with boys.

Last Game & Banquet

Weekend before last we had Vincent's LAST T-Ball game. He did have a great time this season and whether he learned anything or not, we will see next time around!

Thursday was his banquet at NY Pizzeria. He was SO HAPPY and excited to get his very first trophy!!
We are so proud of you Bub!!! Can't wait until next season!

 

End of School Field Day

I am just a little bit behind. This was Isabella's 2nd Grade Field Day and what we call my "last duty as a room mom". We will see if I can restrain myself from Volunteering next year. Remind me I wrote this. Anyhow, it was so much fun for all of the 2nd grade students to participate in silly and sometimes very wet activities!  Good thing it was a hot day!!! They got individual pizzas, grapes, juice and cookies for lunch. I also made Pinterest inspired "Have a Krazy Kool Summer" treat with krazy straws and koolaid packets.

Good bye 2nd grade ~ Hello 3rd grade!! Hoping for a wonderful Summer and new school year ahead. 

Graduation Time!

We had a great lunch at BJs yesterday afternoon celebrating Miss Taylor's graduation from High School. Thanks Jen and Frank! Looking forward to the actual graduation tomorrow night and Taylor's new endeavor on to college!!!

 

 

Locks for Love!

I am very proud of my sweet girl for donating 12 inches to Locks for Love. She is amazing and I love her beyond words. Thanks to Uncle Soner for taking the time in his busy schedule to cut her hair! She is thrilled with her new hairdo!
