The Week

Last Sunday we went to the Home Show and then to look at some flooring samples for our downstairs. When Isabella woke up from her nap that afternoon she had a fever. She had a fever for about 2 days getting up to 102.4. Monday I had two meetings so Alice came to watch Isabella at our house for a while. Tuesday we stayed home and didn't even go to dance, but I could tell she was feeling better. Wednesday we met Vanessa and her kids at Ontario Mills and had a fun time shopping around. I have been trying to get some school clothes for Isabella since she starts on Sept 8th. Thursday we stayed home again while I worked on two invitation jobs. We had a nice surprise when Holly came over for lunch. Then yesterday when Isabella woke up she said she was really itchy and I noticed wherever she would scratch there were little white bumps. We made and appointment and went to the doctor yesterday afternoon. He said it was just a viral rash and since her fever had broke he wasn't going to give any medicine but I could give her benadryl. He also tested her for strep throat (which we find out on Monday if she has). That afternoon the rash broke out all over her face, chest, belly and back :( Bless her heart she was soooo itchy! I called the doctor back and he said she had Roseolla, which is a product of a high fever. Once I gave her the benadryl the rash seemed to calm down. Today she is actually okay...a little itchy here and there and she isn't coughing nearly as much. But we had to miss out on going to the Disneyland parade last night and to play at Rebecca's house this morning! Now just praying little Vincent doesn't get it! I myself feel a fever coming on :( Hoping I don't get it either because we leave for Texas on Wednesday and I need to finish my invitation jobs and get them delivered before then, plus clean and take Bella back to the doctor on Monday, pack and so on...

This was yesterday afternoon. My two boys were sleepy!

This little "stinker" is getting so big!

We finally have a laptop again. Here is our little sick girl playing Disney fairies game. And this just cracks me up. When Vince wakes up from a nap, or if he is laying in his bed and doesn't fall asleep, he will roll over and pull his bumper pad down to check and see if anyone is coming to get him since he has a view out into the hallway. So funny!

OH, and I forgot ...I cut my hair again ... this isn't a wonderful picture, but it was last week before the beach party.

Ahh, I hope Bella feels better. I think they said it takes only a few days to go away. Adults don't normally get it, but will probably get the cold. And count 10 days for Vince, because that is the incubation period for Rosella. :(
And your hair cut is darling! Love you so much supper mom!
