Christmas Eve was such a blast. We did all the traditional things: Italian food, reading of the Christmas Story, singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and then opening our gifts. Since there are so many of us now, we go in stages for opening presents. This way my Mom and Dad can enjoy us all. We start with Vincent and Rylie, move on to Isabella, Jon and Jacob and then to the 4 girls and finally to us adults and we end with Mom and Dad. Sounds organized, but is still always chaotic. It is probably one of the only times I love chaos! I love the sounds of everyone so happy and the loud "thank yous" that fill the air.
When we got home from Grammy and Popi's house we sprinkled out our Reindeer food and glitter that Vincent made in School. We set out cookies, carrots and milk for Santa and the Reindeers and the kids made letters to Santa and went off to bed...
