Pep Talk

I love this picture. I was standing there taking a picture so I actually got to hear what Coach Gabe was saying to my Isabella. Runners were on 2nd and 1st and we were so excited for her 'good eye' to lead to a great hit.

Anyhow, there was a conference on the mound and Coach Gabe was saying, "I'm not worried. You know why? Because YOU'RE ISABELLA! You're my Homerun hitter!!!"

Of course after I was smiling with pride I yelled and said, "No pressure, Bella!"

She get's shy. Notice the leaning on the bat and leg up. Ends up that the silly girl running from 2nd to 3rd on a pass-ball decided to actually walk to 3rd base instead of run and there went Isabella's at bat.

I love the Fall Ball season - so much less stress. She is having a wonderful time! Lana's team kicked our booties, but that's okay! GO SPARKLE! GO BLUE ANGELS!

First Homework Assignment

Here is my little man doing his very first homework assignment. Homework in Pre-k? Yuck! But he was very excited to know once he turns in his homework complete he gets a sticker on his folder. It is funny because I remember the teacher telling me how great Isabella was with using scissors. The same thing with Vincent. Must be because they are around me cutting things all the time and they do little projects of their own!

I love this little boy so much. Thanks Grammy for the pictures!

Texas Trip 2013

This was a strange trip to Texas to say the least, but despite it all we ended up having a good time and did some fun things. I think you all know Bella ended up with pneumonia and we spent a lot of time in the urgent care and at Walmart picking up prescriptions.

Isabella had been sick for the week before we left for Texas. She never had a fever, but when we were landing she was crying so hard because her ears hurt super bad. Below were our pictures from Urgent Care - the top one from the day we took her. The bottom one from the follow up on Sunday. The first two days she was not allowed on her Horse and that broke her heart. It was quite an ordeal, especially since the Doctor forgot to mention that they turn into demon-children with the steroids.

Vincent got to drive the Tractor with Popi. I love their faces in the first picture.
Just some silly pictures of my boy - he keeps us laughing!

We hung around a lot - playing Monopoly, x-box and on the computer.
FINALLY - Bella got to see Buck and boy was she a VERY HAPPY girl. She hugged Buck right away.

Uncle David was in State with the Mariners and we met him for lunch. Still not many pictures of Isabella because she was sick and not into me bugging her about photos. The photo of Vincent and Uncle David (his Godfather) is perfect! The photos of Vincent and Daddy are two of my favorites ever!

Perfect picture of my Brother and the 'Rents.

Sunday after Bella's doctor appointment we went to the Mariners/Rangers game. We had a blast and had perfect seats in the shade!

Love these photos of my Cowboy!

Vincent got to sit on the Donkey (he loves that) and also go on a few rides with Cousin Kristyl's fiancĂ© Matt. He loves riding the Horses and think he might like to follow Sissy's footsteps. It is also very fun to take some rides on the Golf Cart.

One of the last days we had lunch with my Mom's Aunt Betty. She is my Grandpa Vincent's sister. Doesn't my Mom look SO MUCH like her!!?
And our last day of riding.... Until next time Texas!

Back 2 School!!

We had a wonderful first day back to school! Bella fell asleep really early on the couch and Vincent got to sleep at a decent time. They were very excited to get up in the morning and start their new school year.

Traditional pictures before school.

Both Daddy and Aunt Donna got to join the fun! It was a very special day!

Super Fun Weekend!

Friday afternoon we headed to Popi and Grammy's. Popi came home early from work and after a yummy lunch, we all headed to Main Place Mall for some back to school shopping!! Bella picked out her backpack, lunch pail, water bottle and clothes at Justice (thank you Grammy and Popi !!!). After a little 'schooling' by my 8 year old when she said, "You are being really mean Mom...not everything has to match perfectly", I let her get the backpack she had her heart set on and a lunch pail that does not go at all. It is so hard to let go control. LOL!

The kids were over shopping and Popi took them to ride the train while Grammy and I shopped in Crazy 8. I found the most awesome deals and was so happy to get both Bella and Vincent more school clothes. After the mall, we headed to Target where Bella so happily picked out everything and crossed of her list! I remember being this happy when it was time to get school supplies - no lies, I am still giddy over office supplies!!!

Saturday afternoon we headed to Papa Joe and Grammy Alice's house where we had a yummy dinner celebrating Chris' Birthday! All pictures are on Grammy Nancy's phone. Grammy Alice made a wonderful dinner and their new house is beautiful! I am so happy for them!

Today we all met up again to celebrate Aunt Amy's 40th Birthday with brunch at Back Bay Bistro! It was delicious!! Since I couldn't hold the babies last time because I was sick, I hogged them today. Aunt Amy is such a beautiful Woman and Mother! I know she will have the best year ever watching those little babies grow! And the Cousins ROCK in their glasses.

Oh, and I finished an invitation job in there too...

Have a super blessed week my friends!

Mini Vacation

Thursday, Chris' Birthday, we headed on our mini vacation to Sedona. We have never been and had so much fun together as a family. We ate A LOT, played Monopoly while it rained, went shopping, watched movies, sight seeing and to the slide rock. Loved it!!

Our 8 year old!

Boy did Isabella's Birthday go by in a blur! I think mainly because I was a sick Mama, but hopefully I made it special for my little girl and a year she will remember.

Thursday the 18th was her actual birthday! We started the day with our traditional "Birthday Toast". I had laid out a special outfit and flowers for the morning.

We then went and had breakfast with Grammy and Popi! She got to open her presents from them which included the new Saige American Girl and matching pajamas for her sleep over!

After VBS, the kids came home for cake and presents with the 4 of us.

Friday during the day we got ready for Isabella's American Girl Sleepover. I let her take care of most of the set up; she did a great job and had so much fun. Each girl got a special made sleeping bag for their doll and sleeping masks.

The girls had an absolute blast. They sang and danced, watched a movie, ate snacks, had cake and opened presents, camped out in the living room and just had fun together. We only had one little girl go home about 12:30. The rest made it through!!!

Saturday morning we headed over to Grammy and Popi's house where we set up for the BBQ. Isabella, Jacob and Vincent did the swimming and we had fun celebrating!

I am so in love with this little girl. She amazes me with her heart and the way she can make people laugh. Happy 8th Birthday sweet Angel face. I hope you have an amazing year!!!!!!!

Theatre Camp

Isabella had a GREAT week at Theatre camp!! The play was Peter Pan and it was much more organized than last year. Isabella played the star Flash and had about 6 or so lines. She was one of the only ones who turned toward the crowd and spoke loud and clear. She is also very fun to watch singing with her facial expressions.

It is always so wonderful that Isabella has such supportive and loving Grandparents there at her events. We went to CH Pizza Co. afterward and the kids had a blast earning tickets and picking out prizes. A great Friday night!!!
