Feeling BLUE!

It's hard being Dodger fans!! We don't get the luxury of having the Stadium right down the street and man is it a hassle to get in and out of that stadium. But we had such a fabulous time at the game on Thursday evening. We got decked out in our Dodger Blue and had baseline seats that were awesome. They got us in the Kettle One Baseline Club where we got food and drinks included! Oh, and we got Brian Wilson Bobble-heads! Can't beat that!

Last Day of Swim !

The kids really enjoyed swim lessons this year. They could continue to take more, but we don't really have two consecutive weeks to be home for them. Thursday was the last day and they got to dive and play water-polo. Winter of course is not a strong enough swimmer to do this on his own, so he got to be carried around (and loved it!).  They will continue the fun at Grammy and Popi's pool.

 

Happening around our house!

I've been posting from my phone these last few times. Man, these phones can do everything! Let's see what's been happening on the Calagna front!!

My beautiful friend Brittany and I went to the Flower Mart and had a day of making arrangements for her friend's album release party!

We've been swimming every Friday with Popi! The kids just love doing "tricks"! I have a couple videos but don't have the option to upload them here :(

We've also been in swim lessons for the past two weeks at Vellano Country Club. I don't get to sit very close so it is hard to get photos. I will bring my longer lense on Thursday, their last day, to see what I can do! 

We celebrated Grammy Alice's 60th bday!

We had fun at Sky High with friends!

And been trying to get back on track with healthy eating and fitness! Thanks to my friend Raquel, I got the FitBit and I just LOVE it!!! I may be a little obsessed with matching it to my shoes/clothing though!

Last Tball game ever!

It was Vincent's very last Tball game - next year he moved up to Coach pitch - and he hustled so hard. He dove to catch a ball, played catcher and tagged some runners out and ran fast. Super proud of his hustle today so he got to celebrate with this absolutely ridiculous pancake!!

Tball Pizza Party!

Vincent had a wonderful team pizza party last night. He had a fun season and ended by playing Catcher and diving to tag a kid out (who isn't really out because no one gets out in Tball)! He looked like a true ball player. Lots of work to go but that was the last game ever of TBall... Coach pitch next year for him. 

This is Coach Donut as Vincent calls him! A very awesome, genuine Coach and two of Vincent's best friends (Ava and Zoe - yes, girls!!) Dad!

Skates!!!

Yesterday I took the kids to get good old-fashioned Roller Skates!! I wanted to get myself some but couldn't buy 3 pairs at once! 

I have to stop using my phone camera because everything comes out blurry. Here they are practicing in the backyard. It's gonna take a while to get the hang of this! They did enjoy it and have practiced again this afternoon!

Girl Scout Bridging!

We had a fun family dinner last night at Jo -Jo's pizza to celebrate these girls bridging from Brownies to Juniors. I told Bella we were not going to do Girl Scouts this year but then I decided to make the exception and say we can do Girl Scouts but without cookie sales. She is so happy to continue.

Last day of TK

Vincent had a wonderful last day of TK! He was so sad to leave Mrs. Buck and his friends. I can't believe my little boy is going to Kinder in the fall ... He has learned so much this year and is sooo smart and ready to jump in!

First Day of Vacation

We had a great first day of summer vacation. We started with Maleficent where we ran into Vincent's friend Amelia. We all LOVED the movie! We then went to Pop and Gram's where the kids enjoyed swimming! Followed by a little playing of 'Chopped' and dinner! I would say it was a great kick-off!
