Rebecca Calagna Events ~ Website Updates!

Through much hard work, dedication and professionalism I have been able to increase my wedding/party bookings and professional contacts...therefore, I am announcing the many updates of Rebecca Calagna Events website. We were also named TOP 5 in the OC Hotlist contest. What a wonderful accomplishment that was! Our next goal is to get ourselves on Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?!

At Jimmee & Jose's wedding I got to work with one of the coolest ladies. I know wedding coordinators can get a rep, but this gal is totally different. Rebecca Calagna is beyond words. She's so together and on it! She let me do my thing and everything else was perfectly in place every time we turned around. If you need anything for your wedding, give her a call. You will not regret it! Just an awesome outlook on life and organization which is so perfect for your wedding day. Everyone wants to be surrounded by nice, happy people and when your wedding planner is that person and by the way, making everything run super smooth...that sounds like a win-win situation to me.

And finally, snce BLOGS are the "Happenin' Thing" I have added one to my site: I plan on using this to post wedding photos, company updates and wedding trend/style tips! Happy Planning!

Moms Just Wanna Have Fun!

This weekend us Moms headed to the Dessert! Teren was in need of some time to relax and have fun!! So Saturday morning we met, got some coffee and headed out. We stopped at the Outlets for some power shopping, then hung out at the hotel and happy hour where it was on to dinner at Yard House and to McCormick's. Even though I was the yucky pregnant lady who was hot and tired, I still had so much fun hanging out with everyone and I even got to dance some :) Thanks Friends!

Summertime! Summertime!

Yesterday Isabella and I were at Kohls (Shocker!) and I couldn't pass up the "Summertime Pool Set" with splash pool, goggles, raft, ball, army floaty and swim ring....all for $13!!!! Isabella wanted a RED bathing suit, but we didn't make a Target (another Shocker!) trip yesterday, so she had to deal with her old purple polka dot one! Anyhow, Daddy blew up the pool when he got home and the rest of the stuff she can take to Grammy and Papa's big pool!

And I just thought this was TOO SWEET...so I had to take it!
A long day for both!

Happy Father's Day!

Yesterday topped off a great weekend! Mommy made breakfast in the morning and in the afternoon we went to a BBQ at Grammy and Papa's. We relaxed with the family and watched some Golf and Lakers.





I also want to say how truly blessed I feel to have this man as my husband and the father of our children. He works so hard and gives so much of himself to make us happy! In our case, what they say is true, girls marry someone like their father and Chris has so many of the wonderful traits I find in my Dad.

Beautiful San Diego!

On Thursday afternoon we headed to San Diego with Grammy and Papa. We stayed in Old Towne and ate LOTS of Mexican food for a couple days!! ha/ha! Thursday afternoon we went to Seaport Village to walk around, let Isabella ride the carousel and get Ben & Jerry's. Friday Chris and Pop went to the US Open...Union Bank had a Suite at Torrey Pines for the tourney. The guys said it was unbelievable how awesome it was run. They had tons of food/drinks and also got super close to Tiger! While they were at the Open, Grammy and I took Isabella to the Aquarium and then to Horton Plaza for some shopping (which Isabella missed because she was wiped out). Of course, Bella loved the fish at the aquarium and I bought a couple things at Gymboree while shopping! We had dinner that night in "Little Italy", as you can tell by Bella's spaghetti face below. After breakfast the next morning, we headed home. Chris and I had a Charity Bash last night for the Orangewood Children's Foundation, which we go to for Union Bank. It was a great time also!

I don't think I mentioned....

We are Best of the OC Hotlist 2008 Winners! Rebecca Calagna Events received 5th place in the LA Hotlist Contest!! Pretty great for our first time running! It is also awesome to be named with two of the best planners in the industry: Kimberly Bradford (you probably know her from Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?) and Kathy Jo Peterson. Thank you to everyone who voted for us!! We truly appreciate your belief in our team!

Weekend O' Fun!

We had a fun filled weekend. Friday was our 'date night' with Grammy and Poppy. Bella also washed her car with Pop. That day Isabella went on the Potty 4 times, so Daddy told her we would take her to see Kung Fun Panda. Off we went on Saturday to the movies, then to the Shoppes at Chino Hills for some PinkBerry and playing in the fountain. Today, Mommy cooked brunch for the family and we celebrated Father's Day and Grammy Alice's birthday early because they will be on vacation for three weeks. Isabella got in water gun fight with Daddy and Papa. She ended up the most soaked, of course! So all in all, a wonderful weekend with family! And Isabella is still doing great on the Potty! Yea :)
