Tiny Tots Halloween Party

Today was Vincent's Tiny Tots Halloween Party. He wore his costume,brought goodie bags and cookies and had a fun day with his friends. He could not get over Ms. Jessica and Ms. Laurie in their costumes and cracked up! He wanted to wear his mask, but we switched to his ball-cap to make it a little easier for him to play and eat.

 

Pumpkin Patch 2012

A very small Pumpkin Patch group this year. On Sunday morning, we seemed to be on the mend and feeling better. Grammy and Popi came to visit us because they hadn't seen the kids in 2 weeks and were going through withdrawals - it is nice to know the kids have that effect on someone :)  They took us to breakfast and even though Daddy wasn't able to join us, we seized the opportunity to make a quick trip to the Pumpkin Patch. The kids still had a ton of fun on the bouncy houses and we got a few photo opportunities in.

The Spiderman hat was a gift from Grammy. It has NOT come off  yet!

He LOVES us...

This morning I stayed home with the kids and Chris went to Coach Isabella's soccer game even though she couldn't attend. He came home with presents for us all! Flowers for me, Donuts for Vincent and Tomato soup for sick Isabella.

I think we'll keep him around!

 

 

 

2 Bellas

 

My poor girl has the flu. Sure, she looks okay here - but she did not feel well. Throwing up with a fever, chills and sweats....yuck. She was actually just excited that the cat finally laid with her after lots of years. My two sweet Bellas.

We are very sad for the things we have to miss today: Soccer game, Pumpkin Patch, a Memorial and Taylor's 2nd birthday party, but I don't want to pass it on and I need my kids to get well. Love to you all!

Pizza Party

 

Moral was low after last weeks game and the booty-whoopin' we received. Coach Betsy decided that the girls needed a mid season pizza party. They got one heck of a large pizza, had drinks and cookies aftewards. The girls got to play a game versus the parents and Isabella scored the only goal. She was so happy! Looking forward to Saturday's game!

Our Eventful Weekend!

We started off Saturday with an afternoon Soccer game. Isabella played her BFF Kendal's team, The Cuties. We played really hard but didn't score 1 goal :( It's okay! There is always next week. Only 4 more games of the season, I can't believe it!



I then headed to beautiful Holly's (and Gus') Baby-Q. All the details were wonderful and Holly looks radiant! She got a ton of pink clothing. I enjoyed visiting and actually hearing her voice!

Sunday morning Isabella and I headed to the Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Patch. I have heard about it from several friends that went, but have never been. It was PACKED! The girls had a great time. They were showing Spookley the Square Pumpkin, which happens to be one of our favorites!

AND look who we ran into!!

That afternoon, we headed next door for a Fall kids' party! We started out with just Bella and myself. There wasn't many kids in their costumes so we hoped back next door to change. When we walked in, Vincent and Chris were home. So they joined us next door and we had a good time!

My favorite part was the apple bobbing. Both kids just decided to use their hands and 'fake' it!

 

It was an eventful, fun filled weekend that went by WAY too fast!

Look Out...

Here comes Spiderman and his Sister, the Butterfly Fairy!



As I have mentioned before, this is the first year that Vincent and Isabella are not matching or even similar. My friend said, "Well, they both Fly!" I guess that is true. It was breaking my heart until my Husband nicely pointed out that it was "Not about you, Mommy" and so, both kids picked what they wanted to be. Vincent is thrilled with his Spiderman costume and proceeds to climb all over everything when he has it on. Isabella is also in love with her costume. She did the head band her very own self. Her wings are gorgeous, although you can't see them much in the pictures and Grammy Alice, Isabella and I made the skirt.

Oh how I love these two kids and think they both look adorable!

Fall Disney!

On the way to Disneyland this afternoon, we made sure Isabella got her homework done: knows all Geography test questions, practiced Vocabulary words and read her 15 minutes to me and Vincent. Since that was all taken care of, we knew we could have FUN. And FUN we had!!



We stopped on the outside to eat a snack while we waited for Rebecca and the kids. Of course I wanted a picture by the Mickey Pumpkin. One of my favorite things!

Once we met up, the kids had so much fun together. It was packed, but we still managed a few rides before it was time to leave. Both Vincent and Isabella fell asleep on the way home- that is how I know they had a good time. Hopefully we will get to go again soon!

 

So Sweet!

My Husband won't be too thrilled that I shared this, but how could I not? This note was on Isabella's dresser this morning. The words on the bottom are from "When You Say Nothing At All", a song he has always sang to her. I hope Bella knows how lucky she is - what a great Dad!

Today was a Spider theme day at School. Vincent gobbled up every piece of that little sausage in a bun w/ pretzels and Halloween Oreo. SO MUCH FUN!

I also thought the spider web made with a paper plate and ribbon was very creative! We love preschool!

He didn't want to smile for a picture, so he decided to be a Monster instead :)
