Look Out...

Here comes Spiderman and his Sister, the Butterfly Fairy!



As I have mentioned before, this is the first year that Vincent and Isabella are not matching or even similar. My friend said, "Well, they both Fly!" I guess that is true. It was breaking my heart until my Husband nicely pointed out that it was "Not about you, Mommy" and so, both kids picked what they wanted to be. Vincent is thrilled with his Spiderman costume and proceeds to climb all over everything when he has it on. Isabella is also in love with her costume. She did the head band her very own self. Her wings are gorgeous, although you can't see them much in the pictures and Grammy Alice, Isabella and I made the skirt.

Oh how I love these two kids and think they both look adorable!

Fall Disney!

On the way to Disneyland this afternoon, we made sure Isabella got her homework done: knows all Geography test questions, practiced Vocabulary words and read her 15 minutes to me and Vincent. Since that was all taken care of, we knew we could have FUN. And FUN we had!!



We stopped on the outside to eat a snack while we waited for Rebecca and the kids. Of course I wanted a picture by the Mickey Pumpkin. One of my favorite things!

Once we met up, the kids had so much fun together. It was packed, but we still managed a few rides before it was time to leave. Both Vincent and Isabella fell asleep on the way home- that is how I know they had a good time. Hopefully we will get to go again soon!

 

So Sweet!

My Husband won't be too thrilled that I shared this, but how could I not? This note was on Isabella's dresser this morning. The words on the bottom are from "When You Say Nothing At All", a song he has always sang to her. I hope Bella knows how lucky she is - what a great Dad!

Today was a Spider theme day at School. Vincent gobbled up every piece of that little sausage in a bun w/ pretzels and Halloween Oreo. SO MUCH FUN!

I also thought the spider web made with a paper plate and ribbon was very creative! We love preschool!

He didn't want to smile for a picture, so he decided to be a Monster instead :)

 

Bianca's Bridal Shower

It couldn't have been a more beautiful day for Bianca's Bridal Shower. It turned out so goregous. Gina went all out and held it at the Montage. The view was amazing, food was delicious and flowers were gorgeous.



It was a beautiful day supporting a best friend whom I couldn't imagine my life without. We may look a little different from High School (I am going to say better with age!), but still a dynamic duo! And even though the day was about HER, she bought me the most beautiful Kate Spade friend bracelet for all of my help on the wedding. I LOVE IT!

Pinkalicious - The Musical

Saturday our dear Ms. Amanda picked up Isabella at soccer and took her to see Pinkalicious The Musical. I wasn't able to go because of the Wedding, but am so glad Isabella could have a wonderful time...She is truly blessed to have a friend and role model in Amanda!

After the play, they got a yummy Farrell's treat... The bottom picture is priceless and I just love those two faces.

Thank you Ms. Amanda for giving Bella such great memories and making her feel so special.

The TOVARS

We headed off to Vegas Friday morning for a fabulous fun-filled weekend celebrating Dave and Alison! Friday we attended the pool party and saw so many friends we haven't seen in such a long time. Friday night we hit dinner with our favs Joe and Leslie! We then rallied hard and stayed up until 1:30 am with Dave. That was so darn late for me and Chris basked in telling everyone I am usually in bed by 8pm (that is a lie I tell you!).



Saturday during the day Chris and I walked down to Fashion Show Mall for a while before heading back and getting ready for the wedding!! We again saw more friends we haven't seen in so long. It was a big reunion! We followed the reception by heading to the after party and again stayed up until 1:30am!

It was so much fun hanging out with all our friends! Chris was hilarious dancing with the girls and just having a blast. I wish that night wouldn't have went so fast...but weddings always do, right?

We spent Sunday watching football in this awesome room and had our favorite sushi for dinner.

Monday we hit Hash House for breakfast and headed off to get our babies! I had such a wonderful weekend with my Husband and friends. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Tovar! Love and best wishes to you both for a wonderful life!!!

Lil' Chef

 

Vincent has a break in his Tiny Tots class for 2 weeks. In the same time slot with the same teachers is a class called Lil' Chefs. They get to make culinary creations each day and have a blast. Today they made Indian Corn and Candy Corn Cheesecake with Mousse. Vincent is going to have a great two weeks!

Me & My Bub

We arrive to Preschool early on Tues/Thurs because it just makes sense to go right after dropping Isabella off at school. I get that time to hang out with my Bub for a few minutes and chat before taking him in to school... He is getting so big!
