Player of the Game!!

Isabella got Player of the Game this week. She had her very first hit off of Coach Pitch! In Softball the Coach pitches to the batter 3 times. If the batter does not hit the ball in 3 times then they get to hit off the tee. Well Isabella usually has to hit off the tee and this was her first hit off Coach Pitch. Super Exciting! The Player of the Game gets to take home Sweetie Pie, a bear that sings "How sweet it is to be loved by you" along with those cute certificates that I made. Isabella also played 3rd and decided to run all around to get the ball including right field...HaHa. I also love to see her in her 'softball ready' position. The Big League of Dreams was just awesome. Chris and I were talking about how it will be when Bella is in Softball and Vincent in Baseball...we look forward to spending our Saturdays at the stadium!!

After the game, we went to Archibalds with the family. Then we made it to the Barber for Vin and Daddy to get haircuts. Gosh I just love this handsome little face....
Happy Weekend to Y'all...hope you can do some relaxing!

On the Mend...

I think we are finally feeling better and on the mend...A chocolate donut helps anything (I know, way to give her something healthy...but I just want her to feel better and eat)!!!

Really??

I guess Vincent wanted to WASH his face with TOOTHPASTE!

Bella says, "Mom, why do you always take a picture of Vincent being a bad boy?" The answer is that I think it is mighty hilarious that there is a true and inate difference between boy and girl behavior! And in his defense, he is a super sweet and good boy...MOST of the time!

Heritage Homework

This week was a crazy amount of homework us Moms we had to do. We first had to go through magazines and cut out things Miss Isabella would take with her around the world and paste those in her trunk. Then we had a doll that we had to color with half the heritage of my side and half of Chris' side (no picture). After talking to our parents and figuring it out...our kids are 1/4 Italian, 1/4 English, 1/4 German, 1/8 Norwegian, 1/16 Dutch and 1/16 Danish. Holy smokes!!! But you know, we love the Italian part of us, so that is what we focused on when having to do the Heritage doll and hat (above)! I found a picture of little Italian girls/boys online and that is what we based it off of. Then Isabella put all the stickers around. It turned out cute...however my favorite thing she said when we started this project was....

"I know what my heritage is Mom....We are AMERICAN!!!!"

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Last night at dinner we were talking about Isabella's class having special events for Dr. Seuss's birthday today. I said, "Shoot Bella! We should have got you a Dr. Seuss t-shirt!" Then I thought, well why can't I just make one!? So I did this iron on this morning on a tank she never wears and she picked the rest of this outfit out to be silly like Dr. Seuss books ....

Here is Bella all ready to go celebrate!!
(with her poor red nose from wiping so much)

St. Patrick's Decorations

I don't usually decorate for St. Patrick's Day. I make Corn Beef and Cabbage and we wear green, but I usually skip over it and put up my Spring/Easter decor. This year I decided the kids needed it to be a little festive. We use the twine to hang Isabella's school work up throughout the month and I made some green bowed clothespins and hung shamrocks at the two ends (Target). I also shortened my iron tree and Bella helped  me hang Leprechaun Hats from it. Here is their March table...turned out super cute!

Who Do We Appreciate?! PIXY STIX!!!

Yesterday was Isabella's first softball game (she was rained out 2 Saturdays in a row). We had a blast watching and laughing at these sweet little 5 year olds playing. Pixy Stix had a lot of fans there and despite still feeling under the weather, she gave it her all. I loved seeing her in that Catcher's gear!!

Lovie Bug

Miss Rylie Love had her very 1st Birthday party on Sunday! It was adorable and my sister did an AWESOME job! I loved Rylie's lady bug tutu. Her cake pictures are my FAVORITE! Happy Birthday sweet little Lovie-Bug!

Let's Get Crafty!

I did a few projects recently. The one below is my Sweet Stuff black Tshirt. It was super long, so I cut off the bottom, banded it with ribbon and then tried my hand at rolled ribbon flowers. They turned out okay for my first try :)

I was also in charge of the Player of the Game certificates for Sweet Stuff. Since there are cupcakes on everything, I cut a cupcake out of the cricut machine. On the back is where the Coach can write the name of the Player of the Game and the date. They turned out super cute!! This was my first sample, so it is a little bent.
And I lost the picture of my final project somehow. I decorated Rylie's birthday bag with Ladybugs and the word Love cut out of the cricut. Love that machine and hope to do some more crafting projects!!
